Kind of sad that we need a wake-up call every now and then.
I think this qualifies...

Ducky took a direct hit when a truck pulled out of a driveway in front of me on a 50mph road.

Both airbags deployed and the second impact smashed in the door next to Itty Bit's carseat. THANK GOD he was not with me.

Mr. Daddy was following me home and witnessed the entire incident. The other driver ran from the scene - there is an ongoing investigation so I won't say more.

While I'm sore and bruised, I am grateful it was not much worse. I love Ducky, but a car is still a car. I got to go home and kiss my kiddo - what a blessing.

Oh yeah... after experiencing an ambulance ride strapped to a body board, I'll have a bit more patience next time Itty Bit protests the carseat rigging!

PLEASE wear your seatbelt

Every time.

And take an extra minute to tell your family you love them.

Forget being Politically Correct - I believe in God and I believe He knows the number of my days. It is by His protection that both drivers walked away from this. What a reminder of how much we have to be grateful for!

So glad you are doing well and that Bob was right there to take care of things. The Lord truly watches over us.

I am so sorry to hear about your accident. Too bad about your car too, but as you said it's just a car - and what a blessing you all are ok! I hope the investigation turns out well too!
