And off we go:
This week it was not me who laughed uproariously when Itty Bit shut himself in the bathroom while Mr. Daddy was taking a shower… then promptly turned off the light and threw his cars into the water. (Welcome to my world, honey).
When Itty Bit said, “Daddy sleeping”, it wasn’t me who said, “Daddy wake up?” then giggled when he ran to the napping guy and startled him awake with a monster roar.
After a long week of our household being sick at home, it was not me who just picked out my daily clothes from the clean clothes pile on the dryer. It would have saved me from putting them away, then just pulling them back out again. I’m not lazy like that, right?
It was not me who got into a discussion with the manager at McDonald’s about the price of substituting a shake for a drink… then proceeded to leave the place without Mr. Daddy’s shake (DOH!)
Not me who would post about my kid taking a finger to the eye during playtime. Of course no one would have video evidence of me laughing (again).
On the rare occasion that Itty Bit stuck his finger up his nose, it wasn’t me who realized it might be a photo-op. It definitely wasn’t me who was totally busted saying, “Come on honey, look at me and pick your nose” a little too loudly when Mr. Daddy was on the phone with a family member.
(Sorry about that, Dave… now you know).

Oh the things we have our kids do for pics!!!
Great Not Mes...nothing's better than sending the wee ones to wake up the big ones!!
I love bugger pickin pictures..
lol - I am glad I am not the only one..
I found your blog through Liz's and Mck Mama's, and I love it! I laughed at several of your Not Me's and have never done any of those either : )
I so don't think the picking your nose photo is adorable, no NOT me ;-)
I love that boogie picture. He has got to be the cutest boogie picker ever! I totally have not done that either.
Payback for all the times mommies get woken by babies.
I do not prompt my daughter to wake her daddy when he's sleeping either. And I definitley do not tell my daughter to pick her nose when there is a booger there that I just can't get!
OMG I just posted a finger-in-the-nose picture this week TOO! BAHAHAHAHA!! I JUST got my new lens for the camera and the FIRST picture with it...and up the nose it goes...but I posted it anyway! HAAAAAAAA
Funny stuff! Have a great week!
I'm cracking up. My not me post has some photo ops involved too. The things we will do for pics! Happy Monday to you!
Totally am not cracking up about Itty Bitty and his finger photo op.

LOL! Btw - thanks for the comment on my blog re: hearing-aid. I was without one for about 10 years. Used to have an analog one and went to a digital one this year and WOW! So amazing! And? Good news - just a bad batch of batteries. Go figure. Oy.
Really? You like the analog for music? That surprises me... when they introduced the music program (& fiddled with it), I was able to hear so much more depth with music that I hadn't been able to with analog. Especially with playing the piano or going to the symphony. I have 4 programs on my aid. 1)regular, 2) music, 3) outdoor & 4)sports.
...... why do I feel like a salesgal? lol! Not my intention! ;-)
Your son is such a good sport! :)
It sure sounds like you and your family are always having a good time laughing and being silly. That's great!
Have a good rest of the week!
Hilary
Hi Rachel,
I loved your Not-Me's. I have got to start doing those. I did it the first week, but haven't since. As always, Tristan is a cutie and makes me laugh (as you do too--I love your writing).
Please give Tristan and hug as well as Mr. Daddy. And tell Mr. Daddy I enjoyed what he wrote to me about my house work. He did not sound trite or condescending. I appreciate him sharing. :)
Hugs, Sara
LOL...they catch you unawares in the shower, don't they?? I don't think I've ever had cars thrown in with me, but the lights going out has happened!
He will LOVE YOU for that nose picking picture when he's a teenager. We all need that kind of blackmail don't we?? *evil laugh* ;)
Your photo ops are hilarious. ;) But I can blame you for arguing with McDonalds over the shake. I've often questioned their drink substitution prices. LOL
