Ironic, no?

I will be the first to admit I have not done my research on this.

However; at first glance this seems really wrong.

I mean, celebrating the Saint Anthony, Patron Saint of animals... by running a horse through a bonfire?

Please tell me there is some warped logic that I am missing? Or at least that I'm not crazy for thinking that is insanely ironic and cruel?

(How I wish this were a digital trick.)

I never heard of this, but that is just not right. I hear ya.

I find it hard to believe anyone could keep a horse that calm while standing next to a blazing fire. Fire just freaks them out. I find this to be a bit strange too.

W.W. has certainly grown from that picture from yesterday, however those dimples are still there. ;)

Did the rider have half a bottle of tequila before thinking that was a good idea?? I, too, am really surprised the horse didn't buck the rider off in the bonfire. That would have been ironic, huh?

This is criminal. Everyone who knows anything about horses knows that they are terrified of fire. Shame on the human being who thought this was a good way to celebrate or commemorate anything! What a miniature mind he must have, but on the other hand, why did no one else stop him? I'm ashamed of all of them.
