So... do we all love I Heart Faces or what?!?
It's exciting to see bloggy friends joining in and some familiar names and faces on Mr. Linky!
We thought last week's theme was pretty darn WONDERful! (wink, wink), and this week's theme has so many great entries already! Try your hand at black and white!
Does anyone else actually have angst over choosing a favorite picture??? I love this one because it tells a story in one picture.

This little guy is ALL BOY. Here he is caught in a moment of playing in the dirt outside the shed. You know, the shed with all the boy stuff. A ton of hay that is stacked to the roof, an old red tractor, shovels and wheelbarrows, rocks... any and every thing worth getting dirty for :)
I'm not even gonna show you the pictures from a few minutes later when he discovered a bucket of water to add to the mix.... but I love how the dirt all over his face tells the story.
And here's my entry for the adults' side. The ever serious Mr. Daddy right after beating my mother in a round of tetherball. Yes, we are all so grown-up aren't we?
See all the fantastic shots at I Heart Faces!

Great pictures!! Aren't little boys always dirty!! Mine are!!
Rachel,
Those are both awesome pictures. You are capturing such great expressions and the B&W is fabulous. Do you have photoshop?
Great shots! Good luck on winning again this week. :) LOL at Mr. Daddy's expression! Why does that not surprise me? ;)
I love the pictures. I need to learn to use Photoshop!!!
Love your kid entry...he is ALL boy! And your adult entry makes me laugh. hehe. My husband calls me a sore winner & a sore loser. I would totally make a face like this after winning! ;)
I just love BOTH pics! Nice work!
I hope you have some more of the little guy for the "messy" week. This is such a cute one!
And dad looks like such a fun guy.
BTW - I like the music.
Oh yeah, that's a wonderful shot of a little boy being a total boy. :) The mud is perfect.
"No, Momma, I wasn't playing in the dirt. Honest!"
Those are the words that look as if they are rolling around inside his head and about to fall out of his little mouth.
I love it. Well, I love them both! And the fact that Mr. Daddy was even playing tetherball with your Mother was even funnier.
Great editing Dana! And good luck Rachel!
Pam
SO I can't believe we met tonight!! heehee What a random coincidence! I mean, I know our town's not THAT big, but still! You and your family are as sweet in person as you are on your blog.
I simply adore the dirt picture. I really need to get Dana's help on B&W!!!
Our town is getting a lot smaller. I can't believe you were in the same store on the same night as us. And, you ran into Heather, which is the only person I actually know in real life on here!
I too, love the dirty face picture.
We don't have a shed stacked with hay and a red tractor but we have one with dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. Theres a garden area that has been turned into a mud pit at least 2 or 3 times a year for the past 16 plus years. I love the dirty face pictures, there is always a great story to go along.
Both photos are wonderful! Love the dirt smudge on your son's eye and the adult entry is hysterical!
I am so behind in the land of blogging. Gotta get in on this i heart faces.
BTW, i heart the faces you've captured.
LOVE the new header!! Look at that handsome fella up there!! He is a DOLL! Of course, Mr Daddy can't be left out....he's a handsome fella too! LOL
Love, LOVE these pictures. Superb black and whites.
