I color

So... some of you thought Mr. Daddy's text messages are funny, huh?

Well, I sent one of my own yesterday after Itty Bit woke up from his nap. Our conversation went something like this:

Me: u r SOOO busted Mister!
Him: huh?
Me: go ck ur email

He went to check his email and this is what he found:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Oh, it's good.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Itty Bit woke up and made his own fun. When I discovered him a few minutes later, he said, "I color!"

*don't worry, his expression is not because he got in trouble, but because he didn't want to sit for pictures*

And it gets even better...
.
.
.
.
.

*Our lovely rustic bedroom furniture. The only matching set I've ever bought... we'll have to add Itty Bit's artistry to the rest of them to match now*

And on the lamp.

And on his Saint Patrick's Day shirt that he's only worn once.

And on the new sheets.

Mr. Daddy's response?

"Where's his mustache?"

Mine?

"It's not called assault if ur husband caused this by leaving the SHARPIE next to the bed, is it?"

His:
"Blogworthy, right?"

Yes, the ink is STILL clearly visible on our boy's arms, thanks for asking.
And Mr. Daddy is still walking with a slight limp.

Oh my, our little guys sound so much alike. We had this issue a few times too. Sharpie is hard to get out of the skin.

OH no! NOT your furniture.. :<( Those white Scotch Brite eraser pads will get it out, but it could ruin the finish. If you're very careful, it could work. My boy colored on paper with Sharpies and it bled through all over the wood floor. The magic white pad did get the ink up, and I used it very lightly so it didn't ruin the finish. Just DON'T use it on Itty Bit's skin; it causes blisters and will take the skin right off of him! Good luck... and I'm so glad that you can blog and laugh about it...

My hubby refuses to put things like that away too! I am always confiscating pens from Natey!

OMGosh, you two are a hoot. Oh I can't tell you how many things Stunt Man has ruined with permanant marker. Good times...Love that he colored himself too. Love that our hubbies can laugh about it, & so can we now that blogging is involved. LOL
Sorry about the furniture.

I can't stop laughing! OMGracious!

I'm pretty sure that I would not have been able to text at that point much less download pictures to his email.

Yep, that's one for the record books, strike that, the blog! But he does look really cute all "colored" up.

Mr. Daddy can be thankful there is no mustache or he would be walking with more than a simple limp! Mr. Clean Magic Eraser all the way, baby! They work wonders. Don't know about the arms, though! LOL

Oh my goodness! Bad, Mr. Daddy, very, very Bad! ;)

We put all permanent markers very far away from the kids until they got over that phase. Wait...well, there was this one time that Anya or Kai took a dry erase blue pen to the cream carpet. If you are quick enough you can get it off the carpet with the cleaner to take cat pee out. Just sayin'. ;)

OH my goodness...my 3 year old went after a kitchen table in the same mannor and amazingly I got it all off with a little help from google...TOOTHPASTE! YES!!! I got some toothpaste and a rag and off it came...I hope you've already gotten it of...if not...give it a shot. It takes some elbow action but it came right off. I'm glad that I have found your blog (you commented on Kate's blog - accidental traveler)...I look forward to catching up on some reading...Be blessed!

Oh I'm just laughing. I wish I could have capture my red marker moment, except I was trying to have an online class discussion and figure out what to do with W.W. all at the same time.
