Love Fest goodies!

Remember recently when Elaine from Matters of the Heart held a Love Fest?

It was so much fun to join in and read everyone's comments about the things they love. It was also a great reminder that we have much to be thankful for, even if it is simply the chance to breathe deeply. What an encouragement the other comments were!

I know I've hinted around about some tough stuff lately. It sucks not to be able to share and confess my worries and fears and let you all poke fun of me and make me laugh about them.
But this stuff is really yucky stuff. Sometimes doing the right thing is also doing the hard thing.

So after some icky days, imagine my delight in finding a package waiting for me.
One wrapped in pretty pink paper and ribbons.

Mr. Daddy would not be exaggerating to say that I skipped from the Post Office.

So to recap, Elaine in a funk, came up with a great idea. I joined in, got blessed, then got picked, then got her sweet care package at the perfect time when I was in a funk. Funny how God works :)

Does this girl know me or what?

Cucumber melon lotion

Hand gel that smells yummy and actually leaves your hands soft?

Burt's Bees chapstick that Itty Bit went nutso over instantly.

Uber-cute sticky notes that are perfect for spring!

A Starbucks giftcard - think I'll have to share a frappucino with Itty Bit?

And the best of all... a heartwarmingly sweet handwritten card that made me feel so incredibly blessed by someone I've never met. Thank you Elaine - you are a such an encouragement and blessing... so glad to be bloggy friends!

Awww, I am so glad you like it. One of the things you said in your love comment, was that you love unexpected packages. I am so glad it arrived at the very moment you needed it.

I am so sorry you are having to go through what you are right now. It is so true, doing the "right thing" is often painful. In the end it is what brings the most freedom.

I pray you and your family has a blessed weekend.

Great gift package. I also love Elaine! She is such a great supporter and loyal commenter on my blog! We both have kids with a nut allergy, so I'm glad we found each other! I'm sorry you're having a rough go. And even though you can't share the details, I'm putting you on my prayer list. Cyber ((HUG)) coming your way too!
