SOOC = straight out of camera

Another reason to love Saturdays ~ besides the sleepy (albeit wiggly) child that snuggles up with me under the covers in the big bed in the morning...

SOOC Saturdays, hosted by Melody from Slurping Life is baaaaaack!

Mr. Daddy's pick this week is one that has been posted recently.
And dang it if it doesn't break my heart every time I see it.

You remember, right? Mr. Daddy was heading out for some quality fishing time. Itty Bit wanted desperately to go.

He followed the truck down the driveway and called out, "Daddy, Daddy!"

This last shot... his body language told the whole story.

He was absolutely dejected and it was only a few moments before the tears began.

Don't worry little one, you'll be old enough to go fishing with daddy soon.

Please go check out the other SOOC links this week.
Melody posted a great one that is ALL BOY!

I'm sure I have mentioned this before. Our boys are very similar, we have those boots and he never wants to take them off...

I really like that picture, too. It tells a story. Sad and sweet all at the same time. : )

Okay....you know it broke my heart once, and now it breaks my heart again. His posture DOES say it all! I'll take you fishing, Itty Bit!

Oh, so sweet. Poor little left-out guy! Adorable that he loves his daddy so much though. Did this get to your hubby a little?

Oooooooooo...bless his broken heart.

But it sure gave you an amazing shot...way to capture it. It's poster-worthy and definitely one for the scrapbook.

Awww. Just makes you want to scoop him up and give him whatever else he wants! We've had many a heart breaking moment with older kids too...Littlest one so wants to be able to go to their friends b-day parties, etc.

Aww, that makes me sad all over again just like the 1st time.

At least this time I can't see his pouty lips. Thank Goodness, or I might cry, too.

Okay Rachel - you so got me on this one.. I'm freaking crying at my desk at work. This one just ripped my heart out. You so captured the moment though - he will love this picture when he get's older and looks back on it.
