Another reason to love Saturdays ~ besides the sleepy (albeit wiggly) child that snuggles up with me under the covers in the big bed in the morning...

Mr. Daddy's pick this week is one that has been posted recently.
And dang it if it doesn't break my heart every time I see it.
You remember, right? Mr. Daddy was heading out for some quality fishing time. Itty Bit wanted desperately to go.
He followed the truck down the driveway and called out, "Daddy, Daddy!"
This last shot... his body language told the whole story.
He was absolutely dejected and it was only a few moments before the tears began.
Don't worry little one, you'll be old enough to go fishing with daddy soon.

I'm sure I have mentioned this before. Our boys are very similar, we have those boots and he never wants to take them off...

Awww. Just makes you want to scoop him up and give him whatever else he wants! We've had many a heart breaking moment with older kids too...Littlest one so wants to be able to go to their friends b-day parties, etc.
Aww, that makes me sad all over again just like the 1st time.
At least this time I can't see his pouty lips. Thank Goodness, or I might cry, too.

Okay Rachel - you so got me on this one.. I'm freaking crying at my desk at work. This one just ripped my heart out. You so captured the moment though - he will love this picture when he get's older and looks back on it.
