What a trip!

Down memory lane, that is.

It hardly seems like three years of blogging. I never expected it to become such a way to connect, or such a daily part of my life. I never expected friends to say something, then wonder aloud if it would show up on the blog. Or for my family to warn me, "that better not end up on your blog!"

Or for me to ask my kiddo to hold that pose one more second, so I could snap a picture for the blog... despite (or because of) him being covered in Sharpie, sticking his finger in his nose, or doing something that screams “PARENT FAIL”.

I went back to see what we'd been up to over the years at this time - and here's what the little guy was doing:

2006:  First year at the fair – as you can see, he was loving it.IMG_0874

~

2007:  Wanting to be like Daddy in every way.  Discovering camo.IMG_4648

~

2008:  Discovering a taste for coffee.  Naptime will never be the same.

2009:  Oh, that fair thing is actually kinda fun :)

Kiddo… I have no idea how you pull of that cuteness while needing a bath, but I’m so glad you’re OUR little dirt-covered munchkin.

Thanks for joining along.  Please check out the giveaway in support of our friend Amy’s son.  Remember, every question is an entry, unless of course you already know TOO MUCH about us already, ha.  Please oh please, don’t make me shamelessly beg ;)  Ends tomorrow!

As usual Rachel, your pictures are fabulous!
I'd enter the giveaway but the shipping to Canada would be horrendous if I actually won, so can I ask a question without being entered?!LOL!

I love the walk down memory lane. I was just wondering today- have your first readers stuck around, or did they blow the joint? Also, blogs you followed 3 years ago- do those people still have them? Wait. I'm gonna repost these questions on your contest post so ignore them here. :)

Nate likes the taste of coffee too. If I turn my back he is all up in my iced coffee! My kid does not need any more energy! Happy 3 year blogversary!

I love walking down memory lane with you. Of course, you KNOW I'd be the one to mention that in the camo pic? Look where Itty's hand is... (or sort of appears to be). Ah, yes... he wants to be like Daddy, alright. !
I haven't had a chance to really read all of the Lisa-comment hoopla.. glanced through last night and saw the pic that she labeled as "hottie", but I haven't been able to really sit and read everything and put it all together. But oh dear lawd, if she labeled Mr Daddy as a hottie without realizing it, then I'm afraid I might just have to .... well, .. agree! In that pic, he most certainly is quite hot... even whilst holding a dead and bleeding deer.
Why do I have a feeling that I'm going to regret this comment?

Three years later and you have not aged a BIT, my friend! Wish I could say the same for myself.

And oh, how we love that little dirt-covered munchkin as well. I hate to ruin your Blogoversary, but we all keep coming back as much for him as for the humor that you and Mr. Daddy keep dishing out. (But you know I love ya, right?)

Don't feel bad about rolling past your big day, I'm pretty sure mine is coming up sometime really soon. Maybe I've got a shot at not missing it. Cross your fingers!

And ahem... Pam D is a little stinker about the hand placement ;) His little fingers are resting on his LEG. Just sayin' :)

Awww...what a great journey down memory lane! That last picture is so very cute...how can you ever say no to that little guy?

Oh, and of course I love the camo photo. All boys must have a camo outfit. ;)

LOVE the pics! The first fair / current fair pictures are too cute. Happy 3 years of blogging! (I can't believe you didn't post the infamous sharpie picture, though! LOL)

And, yes, Pam D., I labeled Mr. Daddy without realizing it was him. I am still hearing about it from my family. (Not that they didn't agree, mind you, but it was me who did the running of the mouth without knowing it.)
