Not Me Monday

Loving the fact that Stellan is healed and at home and MckMama is back to their weekly Not Me’s!

I gotta be honest, this week’s Star of the Show is none other than Itty Bit… and his little mouth.

(insert gratuitous picture of Itty Bit and his “I’m so stinking cute face)

I love that I can actually have conversations with the little man now… but the following dialogue  did not confuse this mama.  Nope, Not Me.

Mommy:  Yay!  We’re going to get some ice cream!  Do you want vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry.
Itty Bit:  Black.
Mommy:  Black?
Itty Bit:  Yeah.
Mommy:  What does black ice cream taste like?
Itty Bit:  Ummm.  Ummmm.  Ummm.  Ice cream!

Mommy:  Oh really?  Are you being a silly goose?
Itty Bit: No!
Mommy:  Are you being a funny duck?
Itty Bit: No!
Mommy:  Then what are you?
Itty Bit:  I’m THREE!

Mommy:  Oh (smacks forehead)

Itty Bit (blowing raspberries)

That same kid did not walk up as I was pulling up the “People of Walmart” website to show Mr. Daddy… He absolutely did not take one look and then say, “Biiiig Mommy!”

Hey kid, that is NOT ME!

~

I did not catch this kid licking the whipped cream off of several cupcakes, then putting them back.

Nor did I chide him for punching holes in the tops by digging with the candles.

He wouldn’t have turned around and logically said, “ But I’m making windows Mommy!”

I do not have the coolest grandma on the planet.  While celebrating her 79th birthday, I did not catch her in these most groovy pants :)  Grandma, you rock.

It is Not Me who is absolutely terrified to post a comment on Mr. Daddy’s last post.  I am giggling madly about his creativity and about the comments, but what on earth does a deaf person have to bring to that conversation???

~

And last but certainly not least… back to the star of our show:

My boys have not spent the last few weeks making sure that the DEAF person in the household is completely aware of every bodily issuance.

Yes my friends, Not My Husband who taught Itty Bitty how insanely funny it is to create scented disturbances – and funnier yet if you take great care to inform everyone.

As my boys were sitting on the hearth (bricks apparently amplify the effect?), Itty Bit did not let a manly one rip.

As Mr. Daddy did not look at him in profound admiration, Itty Bit most certainly didn’t look up at him, point, and say, “PULL MY FINGER!”

So proud of you boys…

Ummm...yeah. That picture of Itty Bit is just about the cutest thing ever!

Did you figure out what black ice cream was?

That People of Walmart site is a hoot.

How can you argue with the logic of windows in cupcakes? All cupcakes need windows, don't they?

Did you get a picture of your Granny? She is awesome!

Good job, Mr. Daddy. You're doing a great job of teaching the boy the finer things in life.

Love the pants! My grandma is 92, and I would pay good money to see her wearing those. :)

And my husband just found that people of Wal-mart site the other day...oh.my.gosh. hahaha!

Cute kiddos you have there! :) thanks for stopping by my blog. I may have to link up for True Story Tues. sometime!

Pull my finger is one thing I have yet to hear. Luckily my hubby doesn't think it is funny. haha That baby boy is absolutely adorable!! Black ice cream is funny. My kids always confused black and white for the longest. I find it funny because we are an interracial family but you know what ever!!

My girls could say 'pull my finger' before they could say mommy. Daddy taught them well (of course if he actually blogged, he'd be saying that it was me and not him who taught them).

Another funny 'not me' day!

Wishing for the "pull my finger" days. My boy just informed me that on page 16 in his Bible, it says "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have s*e*x* with them." Good old Sodom and Gomorrah. Before that, he did a wolf whistle and then said "That's what the rich guys do when they see a hot chick!" Nice. Yep, it looks like that Christian school education is paying off well.
Great "Not-Me's".. but I do miss the banter in the comments. Surely you had SOMETHING to add to that one?

LOLing at the bible reading in the comment above. Hey, at least he is reading it, RIGHT? LOLOL

And I just discovered people of walmart website this weekend, and I have died a thousand deaths at other pour souls expense. What are they thinking?

So, with Julie, what was black ice cream? Hmmmm. Well, apparantly I am out of room because it wont let me go any farther than this linelol

Responding to Mr. Daddy's comment on my blog, please see my previous comment. Now.. do you think I want any little girls hanging around my house while he's in the midst of this particular learning stage? Unfortunately, the gorgeous girls next door are... well, next door. I'm thinking of putting collars with bells on all of 'em...

Uh oh, "Pull My Finger" is now going to be used quite frequently in your house. I

Itty Bit is too cute. Black ice cream. hahahah.

okay .. I have no idea what black icecream is but all ice cream is delicious and so I'm sure I'd like it.

The people of Walmart is one of those sites that makes you wish you'd thought of something so stupid because those kids are making HUGE bucks!

Are you SURE that wasn't ME who licked those cupcakes? =)

Your grandma rocks.

Your husbands rocks.

And I NEVER pull the finger.

Great post! =) Fun read.

I love his response as making windows in the cupcakes. That is so something I can see W.W. saying too. Very cute. :)
