Heartbreak... and a little healing

Remember this?

It just about broke his momma’s heart to watch:

He’s grown a wee bit since last March, and so has his desire to be Daddy’s fishing buddy:

(guess what he just heard?)

(I’m guessing Daddy is gonna take his little good luck charm again?)

Oh my gosh, that first series of photos just broke my heart -- and the second, I could feel his excitement through the computer screen!

I love the series, and the fact that you had the foresight to do it! And yet another thing that we have in common; the "fish" bond between father and son. Ours is deep-sea saltwater, but let's face it; fishin' is fishin', and I would say that the stories are the same, too. But... Mr. Daddy and my man are fortunate to have photographic evidence to back their claims... yep, that is one BIG fish! Way to go, boys..

I love when little boys look up to their daddies so much. I love the look of adoration on Blaze's face when he hears Chris come home from work. It does make me sad that there are so many kids who don't have that but thankful there are some that still do. Love the pictures.

Aww, so cute! That first series is so sad, but he looks so hopeful in the second series :). I love the one of them walking out the door together.

How sweet are those images, just about melts my heart looking at them.

Could he be any sweeter?

I used to love fishing....I always caught the sunfish, untill one day my hook went in my friends leg, fishing was the never the same after that incident, how my little eight year old heart cried and cried and cried. Note clutziness and fishing don't mix!

Best,
Lisa
