Friday, oh Friday… where have you been all my week?
You bring only good things – like sweet relief from work and a chance to let it all out in Julie’s Letters of Intent. Is there any better way to start the weekend?

Dear Itty Bit,
I know you’re a boy and all. Which automatically grants me a ringside seat to your fantastic glee over every noise that comes out of your body, your fascination with anything motorized, and your highly successful venture to ensure contact with dirt or something sticky on an hourly basis.
What I was not prepared for, little guy, is the sudden onset of WWF displays in which you gamely take on older and bigger kids. Somehow you think it’s royally funny and giggle away while getting totally beat up.
Don’t you know you could get seriously hurt? And I thought I taught you well to walk away from any fight you couldn’t win. Besides, you aren’t really supposed to fighting at all now, are you?
Waitaminute… are you winning?
That’s my boy!
*Whistle* Attaboy!
What’d I tell you!
PIIIIIIIN!
(Ahem) Fighting is not good kid. No good.
Love,
Your Pacifist Mother

They were laughing their little butts off. Though I’m not sure some of it may not have been revenge for this:

Pay no attention to my laughter on the video... mean mommy, mean mommy.
Is that your grandson?
That's quite the picture you got of Itty Bit punching the kid in the face. Ouch!
I don't know what it is with boys and wrestling but Nate and Josh still do it and Nolan and Jakob drive me nuts with it. Someone usually ends up hurt and then they want to come crying to me.
Thanks for linking up, I think you are in for the long haul on this issue!
Awww. That's so cute. Too bad my boys mean it when they fight. I remember the "fun" fighting; now they're really trying to kill each other. UGH!
I think wrestling is just a part of being a boy & they will wrestle anything that will wrestle back. Our poor dog has been in more head locks in the past few months. poor thing.
itty bit socked him good in the eye by that pictures:) Ouch.
I can't even stay in the room some times when Daddy and the boys start wrestling...and then their laughter sounds like screams and I come running...I don't know how they do it...BOYS!
Ha! Love the video, and you KNOW that I'm gonna be in the "wrestling" corner! Just get him into a real program with coaches who teach him how to do it right. I cannot.. CANNOT.. say enough good things about the positive effects that the sport of wrestling has on a young man. Spin, Itty Bit.. spin! Half nelson, little man, and then PIN him... come ON, you can do it!
LOL...yes, boys will be boys! I think it is part of their DNA. Kai is all for getting into the melay, and the kids try to wrestle. Of course...it usually ends in tears.
I have a friend that has 4 boys. I can only imagine...
I've never been a mom to a boy but I have to tell you ~ girls may not wrestle but I think their words are sometimes just as painful as a sock in the belly. Boys may have the right idea - fight it out and get it over with. Great pictures! (Oh and I totally am the mom who laughs too)
LOL at you laughing at the other kid hitting Itty Bit!!
So far my boys don't wrestle too much. However, it's usually more that Buddy doesn't want to. Buster will go and sit on Buddy at any given moment. LOL
OMG what a cute kid
How spunky how lively and how utterly gorgoeus
Love it!! Boys are awesome!
That's such a cute post!
Dylan started doing that about a year ago! It drove me nuts at first! I guess I'm just used to it now. He gets around his cousins, and the wrestling begins.
LOL, love how you're egging them on :)
Thanks for the comment on my blog earlier! Here's what my DH puts in grown up mac & cheese (cooked just like the regular version, it's soooo easy!):
noodles
more cheese than in the entire state of Wisconsin
Peppers
Onions
Mushrooms
ground turkey meat OR grilled chicken
sometimes celery, for texture
It's delicious!

Confessions From A Working Mom
It's in their DNA, isn't it!?! Love the series of pictures...looks like Little Bit is holding his own there!
(And I'm so that mom that giggles in those type of situations...glad to know it's not just me!)

So, waiting for the post with the pics of saddle, fence, and bruises! Or are you too sore to type? I hope you AND the horse are OK... the rest is just "stuff" and can be repaired or rebought...
What happened? Saddle, fence and bruises all in one sentence doesn't sound too good.
Does that go with the "it's all fun and games until someone get their eye poked out"? :) Bless his heart. And yep, boys will be boys. I've given up on mine.
And I love how you sign it "your pacifist mother" I have a friend who refuses to let her child even hear a word that rhymes with gun...and guess what his favorite toy is? :)
AWW poor Itty Bit!! I think it was payback ;) OHHH gotta love them ornery little boys LOL!!!
Boys :) Love it! I learned a long time ago to just clear the area so they (hopefully) don't hurt themselves while wrestling. Bitty is fearless and jumps right in with his big brothers, he could care less that they're twice as big as he is. Dh and his brothers *still* do this every now and then when they get together... now that is a sight to see, lol :).
Oh gosh he just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I love that he took matters into his own hands. ;)
That was funny. :)
oh no! he got bopped right in the face. Yep, I do think that explains the wrestling match after ;)
Um, yeah I'd say a little bit of revenge! So funny!
I love that he's wrestling in a suit and sneakers.
There are at least a million times a week when I sigh and think to myself, "boys." What a ride.
