SOOC - Outdoors

Melody from Slurping Life has a beautiful post up today.  Please go see her for more Straight Out Of the Camera images: Slurping Life

Rather than duke it out for who has posting privileges today, this week has a shot from each of us.

Mr. Daddy’s Choice
How soon they spread their wings to fly.

Rachel’s Choice
Nothing deep here… just a love for true red.  And the memories of a well-used trike.

Ooooh I love both captures! Itty bit chasing the duck is too cute. And your shot of the trike is just beautiful and really evokes a whole heap of memories and emotions for me. =)

Great choices guys! Happy Saturday!

Oooh, LOVE your picture! It's so artistic! But Itty Bit running after the duck is great too... like Dances with Wolves... but not. : )

I think both pictures are wonderful! I particularly love the chasing of the duck picture... especially how Itty Bit's arms are extended just like the duck wings!

Ahhh - yeah that comment there from Pete was actually from me!

I love both, but I have to say Mr. Daddy's choice has a slight lead! Too cute!

OK, I'm not picking my favorite. :)

I love Itty Bit flying after the bird but I love Schwinn too. Great job! How's that for being politically correct?

I love the mirror image of itty bitty and the duck how sweet is that!

Rachel your bicycle is brilliant also and as soon as I saw it I started singing Queen.

Bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like

Thanks for the song that will be in my head all day!

Oh, the top one is the best I've seen (so far) of this week's SOOC! An amazing shot; tells the story perfectly!

He's a cutie running after the duck, but the second picture is very striking! Great job to both of you. ;)

These are both beautiful! I love ducks (I think my dog kind of looks like a duck) and that red is striking. What great memories!

Chasing ducks! A boy's dream! Bailey saw a duck hangin' out on the side of the road as we were stopped at a light today and he said "Look Mom! A Duck"
the other kids said "You've seen ducks before Bailey!"
Bailey said "But never that close-up!"
So funny that he was so excited about a duck!

I love the red of the trike, but the pic of Itty Bit spreading his wings tells a story and I love it.

I love the trike pic! I was thinking of doing some randome close up pics for framing in Nate's room. That one would look cool!

Totally loved them both!

Spread their wings?! I'm thinking how soon they discover how much fun it is to chase the birds to see them fly. That's what mine learned best. LOL

I love both of these pics but the first one made me tear up a little.

Run Itty Bit, run. Or for the duck's sake should I be saying run, duck, run? Love the capture and your words turned the moment into a heart grabber.

I.Love.Red. Very artistic capture, but I can also appreciate the sentimentality of a beloved trike.
