Thank You Very Much - Snot Edition

Aaaah, free therapy time.  Everybody get in a circle now and get ready to link up your grievances with Kmama :)

To this neverending round of sickness – would you please evacuate my household at the nearest exit?

I have a life to live that presumably includes clothing other than pajamas and drinks other than Nyquil, Thank You Very Much!

~

To the kiddo who has been thoroughly unaccommodating to my weakened state - for your typical hyper antics, Thank You Very Much.

~

To the Jehovah’s Witnesses that have stopped by TWICE since I’ve been housebound – God’ll get ya, Thank You Very Much.

And I have a letter just for you tomorrow – cuz you have no idea how lucky you were to make it safely off my porch, Thank You Very Much.

~

To the (healthy) husband who stole this sick wife’s chicken soup in broad daylight, Thank You Very Much.

Yes, I realize your mother made it.  Yes, I know it is absolutely delicious.  But duuuuuuude!

~

To the same duuuuuude – Thank You Very Much for reminding me why you need me :)

Now if y’all will excuse me, this coughing chick is heading to bed, Thank You Very Much :)

You should put a NO TRESPASSING sign up, and then no one can knock on your door.

OK, I now see a market for a new sign to post on the front door when you are sick. Some sort of "quarantine" sign with a "bio-hazard" logo on it. Then if someone knocks, you should feel free to cough and sneeze all over them!

And to Mr. Daddy- Really. Mom's chicken soup? What did she expect with it just sitting there, unguarded? Ya just gotta do it!

Oh no! Not the soup! No wonder he had the ornery look on his face in the photo the other day. I told you he was plotting! Know we are praying & wishing we could be there to guard your soup for you! :)

Okay, you need to head over to Brandi and the Bubs' blog and take a look at her sign for her door, and then IMMEDIATELY go make one and not only stick it on the front door to keep the JW at bay, but also stick one on your bedroom door to keep the family at bay. Sick mamas need rest! Feel better ... and don't you TOUCH that dishwasher. =) Make them fish what they need out of there for a few days. lol.

It is the worst when the Mama is sick! How does anyone survive without us. My family has been sick for about 2 weeks. At first I thought it was allergies, But then EVERYBODY caught it and now I'm wondering if it's allergies again. Probably both! DaddyO keeps self-diagnosing himself. Last week he was positive he had pink eye. Nope(dr confirmed), This week he is convinced he has a sinus infection. Oh brother!

Yeah, what's up with our active boys not understanding when Mama is down for the count??? I swear, the more tired and whale-like I become in this pregnancy, the more needy Aidan is for Mama's attention!! Argh!!

Love Mr. Daddy's dishwasher-loading skills. At least there aren't too-tall utensils in there... that's a Chadly favorite. Or the wooden spoons that disinegrate after one wash. Gotta love husbands.

I hate a soup napper I tell ya! What I though everyone loaded the dishes that way ...lol

((HUGS)) to you, my friend!! So been there! The worst part is when you feel better and the house is a perfect MESS.

Oh, I shoud be quiet, shouldn't I?

I am sure Mr. Daddy and Itty Bit are keeping up with ALL of the chores. I am CERTAIN that is just my clan that forgets we live in a HOME rather than a dirty, messy CAVE.
