Defense Exhibit #2:

(Four days post near-amputation on the METAL CONTROL DISPLAY)

(And my fingers don’t really look that short and chunky in real life… blame the chance of tetanus)

There you have it.

Housework may not kill you, but it may maim your appendages with abandon.

You’re welcome.

OMW! How many stitches did you have to get??! Girl, I hope you're resting and you're not in too much pain! From now on, Mr. Daddy must clean the stovetop. *wink, wink* Heck, make that the WHOLE kitchen... it's just too darn dangerous for you. ;)

Oh my gosh, you darn near lost your whole finger! I'm with Brandi, stay far away from the kitchen. It is now Mr. D's domain. You just can't take those kinds of risks anymore.

I feel ya! I stopped doing yard work immediately after I had to get stitches to sew my index back together.

Yeouch! This is why I'm way too lax with the housework lately...it's a matter of self-preservation!

Ok, that looks like it hurt!

Yeah, besides who looks that cute doing housework anyway...Certainly not me. False advertising on all accounts!

OW! How in the heck did you manage to do that?

Well that means tomorrow I am not doing a thing.... just for you! you better have the hubs add "clean stove" to his list of chores. I wonder if my hubby will take up some of my chores..... I won't hold my breath ;-)

I'm cringing at the thought of what happened...

I could show this to my husband and he'd probably say, "But you don't clean anyway!"

Oh good golly woman! I am going to google bubble suits for you now.

I'm sure my hubby will understand when I tell him it is too dangerous for me to do housework! LOL

It's always better to be safe than sorry...that's my motto! ;) I burned my hand last night cooking, so apparently I'm not doing well. I still have scars on my hands from when I was a kid and I was washing the insides of glasses (twice!) when they broke. That is why I make Brian do the dishes. Well...one of the reasons. ;)
