What?
You thought I was going to show you a couple of super-awesome things I bought online?
Aww heck no.
Y’all know how tempting it is to make a quick run to the store during this hectic season, right? I mean, even if you have *ahem* company?
Reason #519 not to take your kid shopping with you:
When you spend the week before telling him he has to wear chapstick otherwise his lips might crack…
He might suddenly recall that and wait for the prime audience to throw himself dramatically in your arms and wail loudly,
“I’m craaaaaaacking! Mommy, I’m craaaaaacking!”
Yes dear, I can see that.
~
Reason #520 not to take your kid shopping with you:
When you take him out in public while he insists on wearing his dapper little hat… he gets a fair amount of attention from the ladies.
(forgive the Cheeto lips)
He spent most of the time racing around the store, then suddenly acted shy around the young checker.
“I’m a little shy right now,” he said as he wrapped his arms around my leg.
She smiled at him and I told him to wave goodbye.
He waved.
She waved.
“See you later”, he said.
“See you later”, she said.
He walked nearly to the doors before turning around and hollering at the top of his mighty lungs,
“and don’t let the bed bugs bite!”
I think I saw a rush on Depends once the front half of the store realized what he’d said.
Like I said, online shopping - a beautiful thing.

Hee hee hee! If there was that kind of entertainment at the stores I would be there 24/7. What a character!
OH! I will have another reason 'not to take your kid shopping with you' on Wednesday! Yes, it has to do with Daisy!
I love it, I'm cracking. Are you going to do true story tuesday? I would love to link up
He's precious and just a little bit precocious but we love that about him, right?!?!?! LOL
Love it. I am a little shy right now lol. That kid is a classic. I so wish we lived closer together so he and Blaze could play together. Well, and so could we lol. I did almost all of my shopping online this year. SO. MUCH. EASIER.
He is so funny!! He's going to have everyone loving him when he starts school. Like Buddy. Who somehow manages to find someone to pay for something when he doesn't have money (like the extra $0.60 he needed for the book fair yesterday). Man, they know how to turn on the charm, don't they?
He is such a charmer. I know I've said it before, but you are going to have a run for your money when that boy is a teenager.
So cute! I love his hat!
Itty Bit will have his own show one day!
He is too cute and funny. All I can say is GAP. Baa Haa. Those two experiences were much better...wouldn't you say? LOL
Snort! At least he's not prancing around Walmart, shaking his money maker and singing "Walk Like Mom!" And the aforementioned situation is purely hypothetical...
First of all, you're HILARIOUS! Secondly, I can ABSOLUTELY understand why the chicks dig that hat, he looks ADORABLE! (Even if he IS "cracking!" LOL!)
Cheeto's-ChapStick? Awesome.
Good thing he was a little shy before he hollered.
Who knows what he would have said.
Bill
I don't know...if you stay home and shop who is going to post these tidbits of complete adorableness for us, HMMMM?
I mean it's not like he looked at the elderly person in the line behind you and stated "your really old, that means your gonna die soon but don't worry Jesus takes care of us when we die." Yep and there was no hole for that parent to sink into...who, me, c'mon....well maybe.
What a cute little thing to say : ) Cracking lips! LOVE it! I wish you a very Merry Christmas Rachel!
I think we should get the kiddos together and just let them loose. Imagine all the blog fodder we'll get...
Itty Bit IS looking quite dapper with that hat. Miss his mischievous little grin in these pics, though! (hint, hint)
Cheeto's and Chapstick go hand in hand....or is that lip and lip!
He is adorable!!
It sounds like life is always an adventure with him around!
oh Rach I love that kid
he looks enchanting in that cap - like a boy from Victorian England
You are SO. IN. FOR. IT. hahahahaha! That kid! My stars, he cracks me up!!
Y'all have a lovely holiday! Merry Christmas! :)
I love it! I think I would continue to take him just for the blog fodder he supplies you with. ;-)
I hope you have a most wonderful Christmas!
Just wanted to stop by and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the laugh! I've had similar incidents....none that cute though! :)

Oh yes, little kids in hats, utterly meltable.
Merry Christmas Rachel & Mr. Daddy!
LOL, I can see how he gets a lot of attention in that cute hat :).
Hope your family had a wonderful Christmas!
I agree, shop online. While you're at it, you may want to order all your take out online too. When my oldest was about his age, we took him out to eat. Well, he was potty training (so probably a bit younger now that I think about it) and had to go to the bathroom. Daddy took him and decided to use the facilities as well. When they were done, Gary announced to a rather full bathroom "Good job, daddy! You did it!"
