Home

She’s home.

No more pain

A bittersweet grief for those of us left behind.

Sing with us,

My heart will choose to say…

Thank you for your prayers.  And for walking this hard road with us.  Life is so short.

Life is unbelievably short, but she was so lucky to have such a strong, loving family around her. And we're lucky that you shared her with us. Thank you, Rachel.

Oh, Rachel, my heart breaks for your family and rejoices for her. I will praise Him with you for He holds the keys to death so that we do not need to fear.

Praying that you will feel the arms that hold her close around your family on earth today, tomorrow and in the days and weeks to come.

Thinking of your family at this hard time. Part of an old song came to mind - Finally Home sung years ago by Christine Wyrtzen.

When surrounded by the blackness of the darkest night,
O how lonely death can be;
At the end of this long tunnel is a shining light,
For death is swallowed up in victory!

But just think of stepping on shore-And finding it Heaven!
Of touching a hand-And finding it God's!
Of breathing new air-And finding it celestial!
Of waking up in glory-And finding it home!

I've been thinking of y'all since I heard this news and I'm so very, very sorry for the grief you must endure. By remembering who she was and how she loved, the grief will be eased eventually but will never ocmpletely dissipate. You'll love her forever and she you.
